Street House And Evaporation, And Everything Else, Too!

In August September 2026 Dr Steve Sherlock has been excavating a very expansive area of field after the crop was harvested.

This time he has found a Large Neolithic Early Bronze Age Cairn. Beech.

It is made from beach cobbles that have been collected and brought up onto the hillside and in their placing, that positioning makes the site of the cairn appear more raised up.

The cairn was found in a recent geophysics survey and the excavation has brought to light a cairn which is over 17 meters across north south.
